Alayna & Mommy getting ready to goAlayna took a visit to the audiologist today at BHASED. The test came back inconclusive. She has such tiny ear canals. In addition, wax and/or fluid can interfere with the test. So, we've decided to take her to Peoria in the next few months to have an ABR test done again. She had one at birth and passed, so we pray that we will get the same results.
I also want to mention that we've found a family in Utah with an adorable 3-year old daughter with the same diagnosis. They graciously emailed us back and we will be in contact with them. They are willing to answer our questions and help guide us as best they can through their own experiences. They are the best resource parents could ask for. We are thankful!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." God is always there no matter what circumstances we face. He is always up to something. We have faith in the Lord.
